It’s a day of fun for the whole family. And it’s FREE!
In celebration of our production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s groundbreaking musical Oklahoma!, we are hosting the first ever 5th Avenue Theatre Community Day! ...Proudly co-hosted by the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, Community Day will give adults and children alike the opportunity to “jump right in” to the musical theater experience.
Watch the Lions Dance
The festivities will kick off with a traditional Lion Dance! The Lieu Quan Lion Dance Team will perform a cai qing ceremony blessing the theatre, celebrating the Year of the Dragon, and honoring the Chinese-inspired heritage of our historic theater.

Tour The Theatre
Built in 1926, The 5th Avenue Theatre is a living piece of Seattle history. The glorious theater, whose interior design is inspired by royal sites in China, will be open for morning tours.
